THE BACHELORETTE 6 EPISODE 7 PREVIEW: CHRIS LAMBTON GIVES A VERY SPECIAL GIFT TO ALI!

The Bachelorette 6, episode 7 will take place in a beautiful and lively city of Lisbon, Portugal. Ali has to re-evaluate her feelings for the remaining contestants so that she can choose the final four who will have the opportunity to take her home to meet their families. 

The five remaining men are:

Chris L., 33, landscaper from Cape Cod, MA

Frank, 31, retail manager, from Geneva, IL

Kirk, 27, sales consultant from Green Bay, WI

Roberto, 26, insurance agent from Charleston, SC

Ty, 31, in medical sales, from Nashville, TN

The episode begins with Ali’s 1-on-1 date with Roberto. They will have some fun in the streets of Lisbon. According to ABC press release:

“They explore Lisbon by tram and playfully take photos of their adventure. Their day ends with a picnic at the sixth century Castle of Sao Jorge. But, will Ali forget how she felt about him by the time she gets to the next rose ceremony?”

Will Ali carry on her feeling about Roberto to the next Rose Ceremony?

Personally, I would like to ask whether Roberto will remember how he felt about Ali (if he felt anything) when Ali is out and about with other guys? Since the last date with Ali, Roberto remained somewhat reserved, quiet and cautious. Even though he didn’t have much interaction with Ali, he didn’t show enough interest in her during that little time spent together. As I have previously mentioned, beneath Roberto’s façade hides a person that expects a lot of attention and affection, but doesn’t give much in return. For instance, just consider his miserly compliments that Ali’s cute, to get an idea. That’s the only nice thing he said about her and it is more appropriate for a little girl rather than a woman he’s trying to date. Let’s see if he will open up this time…       

Next, Ali will also go on a 2-on-1 date with Frank and Ty.

“The Bachelorette whisks the two men away in a helicopter to tour the countryside before landing next to the medieval fortress of Obidos. This is a tough situation for Ali as well, and her date with the two men proves to be more difficult than anticipated. Ali has alone time with each bachelor and addresses some crucial issues she has with each. Will their answers end up being deal breakers for her?”

Ali and Kirk are treated to a romantic carriage ride:

“Kirk is treated to a fairytale adventure as he and Ali take a romantic carriage ride to the spectacular Pena Castle. As they take in the postcard sunset, Ali becomes anxious as she thinks about the upcoming hometown dates. That night over dinner, she learns Kirk has never had a long-term relationship and begins to question if he’s ready for marriage. The night ends with the soulful sounds of traditional Portuguese Fado music with singer Maria Jo‹o Quadros.”

It appears that in the beginning of the show Ali was very excited about Kirk. Do you remember their passionate kissing? However, during their last date in Iceland their connection seemed to fizzle a little bit, at least on the part of Ali. The problem with Ali is that she asks questions and acts like she wants to learn things about the guy’s past, but when they go into lengthy stories about themselves – she gets quickly bored and loses interest. That’s what happened with Kirk and Ali last time; I hope he doesn’t repeat the same mistake once again. The clue for Kirk is that Ali likes to be the center of attention and she also likes erotic kissing.  

And the final date goes to Chris Lambton.

“They take a scooter ride through the countryside and stop off for a picnic with a breathtaking view of the coastline. Chris’ relationship with Ali has moved slowly, but things pick up as this bachelor gives her a very personal gift and tells her how much a hometown date would mean to him.”

I am surprised with the fact that, for a person who is supposed to end up in the final two, we’ve seen so little interaction between Ali and Chris L. It’s about time for Chris to pick up some intensity and speed to deepen their connection.

Ty Brown is eliminated during the Rose Ceremony; the rest of the bachelors are getting ready for the hometown dates.
